Damn. Tying ropes is just not my cup of tea.

On a happier note, no more outfields already! no sandfly bites, no more powder bath!

Grenade live throw (170508 , around 11am)

A negative demostration of what to say when you throw one gren.

"PIKACHU I CHOOSE YOU" *throws gren and take cover.
"1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 6000" *KABOOM

Instant confinement if anyone says that Lol.

It was probably one of my few really dangerous moments of my life.
Holding it with the safety pin taken out send my heart pumping to like 200 beats per second.
But what was really satisfying was the shockwave that came after you threw it.
whoa it can really make you feel "high".

Back from outfield...

As usual, loads of details I couldnt say without landing myself in deep trouble.

but just imagine trying to dig a hole on a piece of flat land so that you can lie in the hole and make only your head visible.

learnt quite a few combat drills.

my favourite one involves me lying flat on the ground, hands covering neck and shout "arti arti arti!" (artiliery drill)

also its quite interesting to see the behaviours of people change during outfield.

some who may seem helpful during normal time suddenly became downright selfish..

others, like my buddy, came to my rescue at my most desperate moments.

im really grateful to my buddy and some of my section mates for their help during camp.

without them, i would have probably have given up, for i have fever on for most of the time during field camp, especially during strenous training.

random stuff that happens:

1) when i was digging the hole, a orange-brown thin snake just pop out of nowhere and slide across my laps and into bushes. i was so shocked that i just sat there stunned while other people were like wtf!

will update another time...

and NO PHOTOS. ^^

ulitmatum

I know i will be leaving my ring of comfort and embrace the unknown, but i will come back stronger than ever, for what does not kill me will make me stronger.

Life in chalet part 2..

5 reasons why you should shave to become botak

1) you will look cool

2) and you will REALLY feel cool

3) very simple and reduce all the troublesome thing you need to do to keep ur hairstyle.

4) dun nid to comb. save time!

5) use none or very little shampoo. save money!

Time to do a proper blogging about the "awesome" chalet" life. Hmm. lets start with the amenities there.

Food - okay the food isn't that bad inside. lets see, we can have chicken rice for one day, next day can have vegetable rice, the next day can have satay sphagetti etc. desserts sometimes include ice-cream (once a week), almond tofu, fruits, sweet soup that kinda thing. For the first two weeks we have supper also, and that includes fruit cakes, chocolate cookies, chocolate muffins etc. SO uh the food itself is GOOD. But den, that is no point in having good food if you have pathetic amount of time to eat them. Average meal times is 15 minutes, and that include manually quening up to get the food and getting the drinks. I practically threw like at least 1/4 of my rice and some veg away every meal as i simply cannot finished them. i think our record meal time is like 8 minutes, and that is just before book out so everything was super rushed.

Bath - okay to hell with warm shower, that is no such thing inside. oh well but its standard camp stuff, so i cant complain.

free time - hurhur. free time. a very rare commodity inside. we got maximum 1 hour of time allocated to do our own stuff everyday, but average time given actually is around 30-45 minutes. within this time we have to bath, wash clothes, call parents, prepare for the day ahead. so practially its fully utilised such that we got no free time to just slack around. during the day free time is kept to the minimum as commanders will give ridiculous timings such as giving 5 minutes to change from one attire to another, prepare stuff like that. sometimes its their fault for delaying stuff, but yet they can still push the blame to us when we arrive late.

training - okay some1 said my company is a welfare one..cant exactly disagree with that. from what i heard, i feel quite fortunate already. but still, its kinda hard to cope once the commanders get really mad because of a really tiny matter. cant elaborate much more..

overall community - well...f words are extremely common there..you can almost pick it up from every other sentence. in fact i think im getting influenced too much...i think i shd just like words go in and out of me without thinking.

gonna have my outfield on saturday, right on the day of njc college day. so that will mean that i will miss co's performance, miss meeting up with all the co people and my class peeps. im so unlucky.
