Time to give this blog an update~ Havent been updating as I just bought my psp and was playing it through out whenever im in the house or going out... I have to rush it to see whether there is any problem with it, reason being it has only one week's worth of warranty. DJMax 2 portable! Monster Hunter 2! Final Fantasy crisis core! Virtual tennis! Here i come~~~~ The best thing about a psp is link play using lan, and with 2 other friends owning a psp and meeting up once a week...its super fun.Work -
The permanent "dispatch clerk" has arrived. Of course that guy isn't as smart as me and sk =p, so he learn things super slow. (but then again which smart fella would wan this job as a permanent one anw =.=) With the old helpers back PLUS him, work is much much more slack. (IM Nt a slacker). Whenever any dispatch comes, I would just push it to either him or the old helper, but Im nt being a bully as more practice is needed for one to familiarise with the area around raffles place. That means me and sk do nt need to go out at all, unless two of them are super tied up and the documents need to be delivered urgently. Soso it means all office work for me...kinda boring actually. Luckily got psp, but i rarely get to played it for more than 15 minutes as there will stillll be something else to do.
The best thing about work is the presence of the recreation room, which have a pool table! Whenever lunch break time arrives, me and sk would rush to the room and play a few games first before the other people come and challenge us to a game. These people are quite expert in pool (of cuz, having played 3-4 years there), and me and sk would pick up tips here and there from them. One particular guy called victor even taught us the neccesary skills and correct all our errors..so good right?
random:
#1: Me and sk always like one particular drink in the vending machine (partially subsidised by company, so its cheaper, around fifty cents per can). Somehow everyone else likes it too..so whenever the machine is refilled, the drink is sold out within 2 days.
#2: me and sk have only gone out for one dispatch trip in the entire week =x
#3: gyming every wed after work with sk, very tiring, but its good to have a gym-mate-cum-workmate-cum-friend.
#4: working in this company gives me a very bad impression of accountants and secretaries and i come to associate characteristics such as "bitchy and calculative" to them. correct me if im wrong~

199th Post~Somehow even though this blog is four years old, the no. of posts seemed rather pathetic. I dun really blog very often...
Another week just passed.
Somehow time pass faster when you know exactly what to do, with the daily routine being the almost the same everyday.
Well there are interesting and lousy stuff that happened during work this week...
Including me and sk getting chided by a nasty-looking accountant,
as well as stuff like getting piled up with tons of letters to record.
Stress levels are rather high, but no matter what kind of shyt that gets thrown at me, I guess I will take it as a test to my patience and tolerance to stress..

Have a nice chat with kahyan on friday for lunch..I wished I can learn violin free =.=
Kbox-ed with cindy today~ I think my throat will continue to be scratchy for the rest of the week after the 5 hour marathon singing session.
My 65 years old aunt passed away on monday.
At first we got the news that she fell down and become unconscious, so my mum and dad went to check.
Half an hour later I received the call from my mum to know that she passed away.
I cannot remember any recent chats I have with my aunt.
The time when she's closest to me was when I was in pri school.
During that time, she was a school bus driver for my pri school, so she gave me free rides to and fro.
I still remembered she always offer me and other kids on her bus sweets.
She's probably responsible for half of my decayed tooths heh.
Okay im a glutton I must admit.
Many other small incidents also happened.
All in all, she's quite a nice aunt to me during pri school.
But after I entered secondary school, I rarely see her anymore, except maybe during some annual family gatherings. So the feeling isnt so close le...
The news came to me as a shock...
But the hard truth only hit to everyone today, when we sent her off at mandal crematorium.
Before that everyone is busy with the funeral's preceedings, such as refilling peanuts and drinks for visitors and folding papers.
The sight of her body getting pushed into the crematorium can be unbearable for many..
But still the truth is that she's really gone.
Im once again reminded how fragile life really is.

Random Stuff at work:
One good thing about working as a dispatcher is that you get to go tall buildings, and often it provide a wonderful view of Singapore, especially if you are at the 40th plus storey. This picture is taken from the 36th floor of Capital Tower, using my phone's panorama mode. NJCO Dinner!
Before the trip back to nj, Im already very tired as I have walked up and down robinson road four times in total...
But still, nothing can dampen my spirits when I see the happy faces of my fellow cellobass mates!

Black Monday
Okay its monday again, and its back to work with hypocrites, slackers, bitches and more different types of people. Just this morning Im send to do dispatch with a senior dispatcher, who is supposed to teach me how to do the further dispatching in millenia tower and cpf building. The dispatch only took an hour, but just before we went back into headquarters, he insisted that I get a drink. And well well that drink took like almost half an hour. Apparently he used the time to slack and smoke with other people, no doubt are other slackers like him, flocking together. Later in the day, just right before work ends at 5.30, we called him to help us with some work. He told us that he is back at home. My supervisor refuses to buy it and call him herself. Its only then he admitted he's at the 20th floor. Wth. Slackers like him existed all over the place, seriously. I admit, slacking abit is okay, but slacking for almost half your work time WHEN there is still many things to be done is just too overboard. Enough with those people >.<

Black FridayJason, the temp worker who came before us left on thursday. So friday can be officially counted as the first proper day of work. The moment we came to the office on fri morning, we knew we will are quite dead, as - two assistant dispatcher (who is supposed to do the furthest dispatch) did not came, and friday is normally a day where work will be piled up on us last minute. AND probably the worst thing is that sk gotta leave one hour earlier for his school's stuff. In fact there was so much things to do on that day that I only left on 6.30pm =.=.
Oh wells, on a happier note, its good to know that another friend works in the same area - kahyan! Lol. I guess the happy meeting lunch kept me alive for the rest of the day bah.
Maplestory - Lvl 100! On 5th Jan 2008, Day 43.
Resolutions for the year of 2008!
1) Gym-ing twice a week and getting fit for ns
2) Work hard in ns to get into ocs
3) Learn as much things as possible from work!
4) Get started on passing driving...(some1 pls give me lobang)
5) Meet up with my friends and have fun...hmm..i dun think this is counted as a resolution but who cares =.=
6) Maplestory lvl 130 before ns! (lols)
7) I probably lost the chance for this le bah...as the person is leaving..I will leave it down to fate I guess.

ITS 2008!!Happy New Year to all! =D
Same as last year, spent new year eve with tommy, jp and people.
This year, the organisers finally become smarter and book a hotel as our base camp!
Its called Robertson Quay hotel..quite a ulu one, three star, aiya wadever, can sleep can le.
Watched Ailen Vs Predator 2 in the noon.
Honestly, Please dun watch that movie, i seriously think its a waste of money..
No plot, nothing, just watch aliens and other weirdos fight it out.
Den went to watch fireworks at marina...
This year's fireworks is less explosive den last year, this year's fireworks is more like everlasting..the balls of light hang in the air...its so beautiful. Really have to see with your own eyes den you will believe..
Interesting stuff:
*The hotel room is supposed to be occupied by only 2 people..so SIX of us have to take turns to walk past the receptionist LOL.
*Stupid sore throat and my foot-ache makes my new year kinda lesss enjoyable.
*Samuel got lost twice LOL
*I suppose this year will be a lucky year..I paid 2 dollars for a 1.60 cents drink, and the person gave back eight dollars forty cents. I din see at first, its only when I walked out I realise the incorrect amount. I comtemplated for a while, den ask my friends, den decided to return the money Lols. Do a good deed at the start of the year ^^ . (okay la its nt so much of a good deed)
