Initial D
Watched my third movie of this holidays this weekend. Of course, there can only be one movie worth watching now..one of the chinese blockbusters - Initial D! Perhaps one of the reasons I have watched the movie is that I have seen the anime of Initial D before, and more importantly, it consist of racing cars!
The Star of this show is of course Jay Chou (Takumi), acting as the son of a ex-racer, whose now tending after a Tofu Store. At the young age of 13, he have been delivering Tofus to the other side of the city, meaning that he will have to went pass a famous stretch of road consisting of many hairpins and little straights, Mount Akina. Driving a Toyota AE86, he have learnt by himself the techniques of cornering, and most importantly, Drifting, (which is why that is a "D"). His genes of being a racer have been awoken when his father, told him to race against Takeshi Nakazato. One of the so great things about watching this movie is that you get to see marvelous drifting skills. Surprising, Takumi managed to win Takeshi, whose driving an Nissan Skyline GTR, an famous 4WD Japanese race car with enormous horse-power. An surprising turn of events followed, with Jay Chou facing various driver whose trying to beat him and being the Mount Akina's Race God, including Edison chen (driving a Mazda Rx7 III, whose famous for its high horse-power, but wears out its tires easily, as its an FR car. This became an advantage for Jay Chou to beat edison), and another guy with name I cannot remember (driving a Mitsubish Lancer Evo IV). The climax of the movie is of course the David and Goliath race (involving the car behind to beat the car in front) among the three of the main characters. Very exciting, with tires screaming and drifting to its extreme.
Of course, it might be boring for some people if its only consist of racing alone. Along the way, Jay meets a girl (cannot remb name), and starting a relationship. However the ending comes Jay discovering that the girl actually were having a relationship with another guy.
So well, the story is not really completed yet. In the end, jay agreed to join the race team and began a new chapter of his life. What will happened..? hmm. Dun be surprised if there is a Initial D 2.

Ah...
I must say the book cost rather expensive at the moment. After a trip to Popular, the book store, I realised the book cost $41.55! Hmm. Just a bit of advertisement. Popular allows people to pay a ten dollar deposit to reserve the book, and by doing that, it gives you a $12 dollar popular voucher. However you must reserve it before 30th June...
Many rumours involving the latest book are all over the internet, Varying from who would die this time, or harry potter's girlfriend. After reading the order of phoenix all over again just to remind me the plot, I think Luna Lovegood might stand a chance (lolz..joking).

Haiz. Watched two movies to date...one is Madagascar (Ma-da-gas-ca). Quite lame and funny la. Features one lion (Alex), one zebra, one giraffe, and one hippo. (cannot remb the rest of the names..:p).
The story begans in New York, where this zebra wanted to run off to the wild. In his first attempt, he had failed, and caused his other friends (who were looking for him) to get caught too. They were then sent off to somewhere by a ship. However, the penguins (forgot name too) "pirated" the ship and cause it to travel to Artic...somehow the four main characters landed onto an island. Met up with something that looks like a squirrel? Turns out that they wanted alex the lion to scare off the predators....something that looks like a cat...thus leading into some rather interesting and amusing plot..
